Oops: Car Hits Police Cruiser (Blotter)

Monday, April 9

4:05pm  No injuries were incurred after a vehicle reportedly ran into a patrol car near Kaiser on El Camino Real.

9:56pm  Police responded to the scene of a major injury accident at West Orange Avenue and El Camino Real, where a pedestrian was left injured after being struck by a vehicle.

Tuesday, April 10

11:32am  A resident on Capay Circle reported an attempted burglary when a female tried to pry open the home’s sliding glass door and another window.

5:55pm  No injuries were incurred after a large semi reportedly hit a gray van on Spruce Avenue, leaving both vehicles stuck and blocking traffic in both directions.

Wednesday, April 11

11:22am  Officers sent a unit to Alta Loma Drive near El Campo after receiving a report that two males were trying to pry open the door of a parked maroon vehicle, possibly an SUV.

6:29pm  Police made an arrest at Costco on El Camino Real, where a male got into a verbal altercation with an employee when asked to show his membership card. The reporting caller suspected the man may be under the influence of narcotics and wanted him removed from the store.
