At least three people have been taken to the hospital after the accident near the intersection of El Camino Real and Arroyo Drive.

At least three people were injured when a pickup truck rear-ended a Samtrans bus in South San Francisco this evening, a Samtrans spokeswoman said.

The truck hit the bus at about 5:50 p.m. near the intersection of El Camino Real and Arroyo Drive, Samtrans spokeswoman Jayme Ackemann said.

The bus driver and two passengers were taken to a hospital to be treated for their injuries, Ackemann said.

She did not have information on the extent of their injuries nor whether anyone in the pickup truck was injured.

Investigators remain at the scene, Ackemann said.
