Motorcyclist Hospitalized Following Crash

The crash was reported Monday morning on Highway 101 Monday, at the Grand Avenue exit.

A Mountain View man was hospitalized Tuesday following surgery on his leg, broken when his motorbike crashed on a sharp turn during a high-sped chase.

Sandor Alex Szamosi, 51, is facing felony evading charges, as well as alleged driving with a suspended license and misdemeanor marijuana possession, according to CHP Officer Michael Ferguson.

Szamosi allegedly led CHP officers on a chase down the 101 Freeway at speeds reaching more than 100 mph, Ferguson told Patch.

The suspect lost control on a sharp curve at Grand Avenue in South San Francisco and slid onto the grass and dirt roadside, Ferguson said.

He broke his leg just above the ankle, requiring surgery and a long recovery, Ferguson said.

He was not booked into the county jail but the case will be forwarded to the county District Attorney's office, Ferguson told Patch.

We help by asking teachers if they need anything. They'll drop hints and we'll go and purchase theRead More products. Most, if not all, parents are willing to help their children's classes if they are able to. It's really unfair for the teachers to purchase supplies out of their own pockets.
