Man Beaten and Robbed in Selick Park

A 23-year-old man was beaten and robbed in South San Francisco Saturday night, leaving him with minor injuries, police said.
Two men robbed the 23-year-old South San Francisco resident at Selick Park just before 10 p.m., police said.
One of the suspects choked him, struck him with a wooden cane, and threatened to kill him. The other suspect punched the man in the torso several times, police said.

The victim told police his backpack was taken, which contained several bank checks, miscellaneous clothing items, and a piece of jewelry, police said.
The first suspect is described as a light-skinned African-American or Hispanic man in his 30s, about 5 foot 8 inches tall, 190 pounds, with a stocky build, shoulder-length black hair with a little bit of gray, and was wearing a white and red checkered long sleeve button-up sweater and light blue jeans, police said.

The second suspect was described as an African-American man in his 20s with a shaved head, goatee, wearing a gray hooded sweater, and black pants.
