According to the South San Francisco Police Department, yesterday police found three tenants in a hotel on the 200 block of Gateway Blvd who were implicated in a "large scale" identity theft ring.

At just before 11:00 a.m., a Los Angeles resident called to tell police that an unknown person was using her husband's credit card at a hotel in South San Francisco.

Police officers responded and found the room booked under the victim's credit card. A room search showed numerous birth certificates, social security numbers, credit cards, and a portable credit card reader.

Elbert Arthur, 37, of San Francisco; Andrea Chestnut, 28, of Redding; and Amanda Masellis, 26, of Woodland were arrested and booked into the San Mateo County Jail in Redwood City.

Police are continuing to investigate to locate other victims.

Every year I buy more school supplies and art supplies for the teachers and they know they canRead More always count on me for more whenever needed. I'm a strong believer in encouraging children to be creative and get rid of the barriers to the freedom of self expression.

We help by asking teachers if they need anything. They'll drop hints and we'll go and purchase theRead More products. Most, if not all, parents are willing to help their children's classes if they are able to. It's really unfair for the teachers to purchase supplies out of their own pockets.
