Cyclist Hurt After Run-in With Car

Monday, Feb. 28

9:13am  Police received a call from a resident who found a bag containing miscellaneous papers, a radio faceplate and other items that may have come from a vehicle on East Grand Avenue.

9:17am  A verbal altercation took place at a pay-parking lot on North Access Road when a customer who lost his ticket lifted the exit gate and left without paying.

9:29am  At Morrison Express Corp. on East Grand Avenue, a man reported that his van was broken into and the faceplate of his stereo was missing.

4:10pm  A vehicle and a bicyclist were involved in a minor injury accident at the intersection of Belle Air Road and South Airport Boulevard. The cyclist reported having a sore ankle after being hit by a black Mazda but declined medics.

Tuesday, March 1

1:07pm  Police received a report from Genentech that a terminated employee was sending threatening emails and making YouTube videos with threatening messages to former employers.

5:04pm  Passersby attempted to contain a Doberman-mix puppy that was running loose on Junipero Serra near Westborough Boulevard.

10:23pm  At 7-Eleven on El Camino Real, two subjects reportedly opened a beer in the store, got into a verbal altercation with a clerk and then proceeded to leave without paying.

Wednesday, March 2

8:57am  A laptop was reported as stolen from a school maintenance van parked at El Camino High School.

12:36pm  At Public Storage on Oyster Point Boulevard, a unit was burglarized for the second time in a week. The unit’s owner reported the first burglary having taken place on Sunday.

12:37pm  Police sent a cover unit to Del Monte Avenue, where a resident reported hearing several dogs barking in a neighboring yard. The caller said that it sounded like the dogs were fighting.
