Crime Blotter: A Pilfered Bathroom Sink and a Filthy Fight Between Roommates

Selections from the police blotter for May 10 to May 11

Tuesday, May 10

8:12am  Police received a report of a no-injury hit-and-run accident between a big rig and a red Ford SUV at the intersection of Baden Avenue and Airport Boulevard. The offending vehicle reportedly fled toward San Francisco.

8:56am  At Orange Memorial Park, a sink in the men’s bathroom by the basketball courts was reportedly ripped out of the wall sometime overnight.

12:39pm  Officers made a report at El Camino High School, where a student was found in possession of drug paraphernalia and had violated the school’s “no gang color” contract.

5:50pm  On Dundee Drive, a female called police to report that her roommate had pushed her and smeared dog feces on her bedroom door.

8:09pm  Employees at The Standby on Airport Boulevard asked police to escort out a man who looked to be in his late 30’s. The man was reportedly not drunk or combative, but was refusing to leave the bar.

Wednesday, May 11

2:36am  On Crofton Way, a resident complained that a neighbor was continually placing garbage in front of the caller’s gate.

6:04am  The window of an SUV parked at Larkspur Landing on Gateway Boulevard was smashed in sometime overnight.

1:23pm  The street department sent two trucks out to make repairs at Mission Road near Centennial Parkway, where copper wiring had been stolen.

4:53pm  A female reported that her purse and phone were stolen while she was at South City Lumber on Railroad Avenue.
