Coroner's Office Seeks Help Identifying Man Killed By Caltrain

The man was riding a "Go-Go Pride Mobility Scooter" when he was struck and killed on the tracks in San Mateo last week.

 

The San Mateo County coroner's office is asking for the public's help in identifying a man who was by a Caltrain on the tracks in San Mateo last week.

The man, about 60 to 75 years old, was riding a "Go-Go Pride Mobility Scooter" when he was struck at about 4:45 p.m. by a southbound train at the East Fifth Avenue Caltrain crossing, according to the coroner's office.

He is Caucasian, about 5 feet 5 inches tall, and weighs about 130 pounds. He has brown eyes, gray/silver hair cut in a flat-top syle and a gray/silver moustache.

The man was wearing a black Furnagalli pea coat, an Old Navy classic fit button down black short-sleeved shirt, Old Navy classic black pants, black socks and black leather dress shoes.
