Burglars Block Door of San Bruno Home

The homeowner was only gone for an hour, but couldn't get in the door when they returned.

San Bruno Police report that a home on the 2900 block of Rollingwood Drive was burglarized Monday morning.

The resident was only gone for an hour, having left at 8:30. When they returned at 9:30 the front door wouldn’t open. The resident looked through a window and saw that a sofa had been pushed up against the door.

The homeowner went to a neighbor’s home to call police.

A police investigation revealed that the suspects forced open a rear window to get into  the house. Money, jewelry and personal items were stolen.

According to Cpl. Howard Hoyer, “The San Bruno Police Department encourages all residents to remain vigilant, and immediately report suspicious persons or vehicles in their neighborhoods.”
