Boy Injured, 3 Run Off, in SSF Crash

South San Francisco police were trying to get to the bottom of a case involving four juveniles involved in a crash; one was injured, three ran away.

A boy was injured in a crash from which three other youths ran off and police in South San Francisco were trying to get to the bottom of the case.

The incident was reported about 10:15 p.m. Sunday on El Camino and West Orange Avenue, according to SSFPD Sgt. Bruce McPhillips.

Police arrived to find an injured youth; the passenger had suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene, the sergeant said.

Using night vision goggles, officers searched the surrounding area but could not find the kids.

McPhillips said police Monday were trying to find out to whom the vehicle belonged but it had not been stolen.

This is one of the most poorly written stories I've seen on Patch. Hope the injured parties get well soon.
