"The body appeared to be that of a female. There were no obvious signs of trauma or cause of her death," Rosenblatt reported Monday.

At this time the female has not been identified, and is being treated as a "Jane Doe." Rosenblatt said the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office is working with the Coroner’s Office to learn her identity, and notify her family.

A notice has been sent out to all surrounding Law Enforcement Agencies to check if any females in the area have been reported missing.
