Body Found At Daly City Construction Site ID'd as South City Man

The death remains under investigation, but it does not appear to be a suicide and is not being investigated as a homicide.

A body found at a Daly City construction site on Friday has been identified as that of Daniel Eugene Price, a police sergeant said.

Price, 48, a South San Francisco resident, was found by construction workers reporting to work at the site at 301 Gellert Blvd. around 7 a.m. Friday, Daly City police Sgt. Harold Rolfes said.

The building where he was found used to house a Sports Authority store, a mattress store and other retail and office spaces, and is being remodeled, Rolfes said.

The death remains under investigation, but it does not appear to be a suicide and Price was not homeless, Rolfes said.

He also said the death is not being investigated as a homicide.
