Blotter: Person Sideswiped by Passing Vehicle

Monday, November 7

8:16am  Police received a report of a hit-and-run accident on Alida Way, where a white pickup truck hit a parked vehicle and fled the scene. The reporting caller said that the vehicle is in the area almost daily.

2:37pm  Officers sent a cover unit to assist a resident who was meeting with a man who reportedly bought her stolen cell phone off Craigslist. The man was reportedly willing to either return the phone or pay the victim for it.

Tuesday, November 8

8:42am  Police received a report of petty theft on Annapolis Court, where two metal staircase railings were missing.

4:46pm  Officers sent a cover unit to Linden Avenue at Sixth Lane to break up a reported physical fight.

Wednesday, November 9

10:10am  Officers received a call that a male juvenile was assaulted while on his way to school on Monday by men who jumped out of a black vehicle on Baden Avenue. The victim reportedly suffered a cut lip and has a welt on his head following the attack.  

1:16pm  A bag containing clothing was reportedly stolen sometime during the day from a vehicle parked on Mission Road. The subjects gained entry through a smashed rear window.

4:05pm  A resident on Constitution Way arrived home to find electronics missing after suspects broke into the residence via a side door.

7:34pm  Police received a report of a disturbance at Chevron on Hickey Boulevard, where a male was standing outside yelling at the reporting caller and dumping water on himself.

8:00pm  On South Airport Boulevard near Hungry Hunter, a transient reported a shoulder injury after being sideswiped by a passing vehicle.
