Blotter: Teen Shot, Ref Assaulted

Saturday, Sept. 17

3:45 a.m.  A caller reported that a manhole cover that was not on all the way near Junipero Serra and Arroyo Drive bounced up and hit his truck when he drove over it, causing damage to the vehicle.

9:02 a.m.   A cab driver called police from Olive Avenue after a male passenger passed out in his vehicle.

2:03 p.m.  Officers locked up the skate park on Tennis Drive after finding juveniles using the facility without helmets.

3:30 p.m.  Officers responded to a report of a robbery at Chase bank on McLellan Drive.

7:52 p.m.  On Crofton Way, a group of teenagers reportedly kicked a caller’s vehicle, causing damage.

Sunday, September 18

1:32a.m.  Police received a report from Linden Avenue that a group of men and women were arguing loudly over keys and that two of the men had urinated on a wall.

9:31 a.m.  A pocketknife was reportedly stolen from a white Mercedes parked at the Parklane Apartments on Memorial Drive. The subjects had smashed a window to gain entry into the vehicle.

5:08 p.m.  Officers responded to a report that a 35-year old in an adult league at at South San Francisco High School assaulted a referee in the school’s gymnasium.

6:16 p.m.  A male with a baseball bat driving a white Crown Victoria reportedly tried to fight two other males in the parking lot of Travelodge on South Airport Boulevard.

8:50 p.m.  Police received multiple reports of gunshots on First Lane at Magnolia Avenue, where a 14-year old boy was shot and killed and another boy injured.

Monday, Sept. 19

8:57 a.m.  An Enterprise rental car was stolen from Randolph Avenue. The vehicle reportedly had all rental paperwork inside it.

7:50 p.m.  A purse was reported stolen from inside a Mitsubishi Lancer that was parked at World Cup Soccer on San Mateo Avenue.

Tuesday, Sept. 20

2:01 p.m.  Police received a call from Duval Drive from a man who said that his wife had just caught him cheating and wanted officers to meet him at their home because he was worried what she may do with the loaded guns he kept there.

6:48 p.m.  Reports came in of a strong-arm robbery at Acevedos Tires on Linden Avenue. The victim went to a San Francisco hospital after being hit in the face with a rock by three subjects, all of whom were reportedly wearing black hoodies.
