Blotter: Suspect Threatens Resident with Bat, Comes Back to Rob Apartment

Saturday, May 5

5:58pm  Police dispatched a unit to First Lane, where a caller reported being hit in the mouth by a subject who then threatened to pull out a gun.

11:04pm  A 2001 Toyota Tacoma was reported as stolen while parked in a long-term parking lot at Travelodge on South Airport Boulevard.

11:23pm  Mutual aid was requested in Brisbane, where it was reported that a gray-haired male was walking around with a gun.

4:09pm  Officers received a report of a burglary at the Alida Apartments on Alida Way, where the victim reported that her apartment had been ransacked and $380 was missing from her purse.

7:43pm  An employee at Pak N Save on Gellert Boulevard called police when a possibly drunk customer attempted to leave the store with $100 worth of unpaid groceries.

8:01pm  A homeless man was reportedly slamming a shopping cart repeatedly into a caller’s car in the parking lot of Walgreens on El Camino Real.

8:53pm  Police made an arrest after receiving a report that a subject had come to a house on Gardenside Avenue and threatened the resident with a baseball bat. The subject reportedly returned later in the day when no one was home and stole a tablet computer and vandalized the victim’s clothing.

Monday, May 7

6:16pm  Officers received a report of a hit-and-run accident at Pacific Market on El Camino Real, where a male in his 30’s wearing a white tank top and blue jeans and driving a red truck reportedly hit a vehicle and then took off down Westborough Boulevard.
