Blotter: Bullet Holes Discovered Over the Weekend

The following information was supplied by the South San Francisco Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, February 3

5:26am  The owner of a white Cadillac parked on Pine Avenue awoke to find a bullet hole in the back of the vehicle. She said that she heard a gunshot around 2:30am, but had not looked outside at the time.

7:46am  Officers sent a unit to Dublin Court, where a resident discovered two bullet holes in the back of his house. The man told police that his wife had heard shots around 2:30am but had not investigated at the time.

8:07am  Police received a report of a major injury accident near the intersection of Grand and Eucalyptus Avenues, where a vehicle reportedly struck a pedestrian.

2:27pm  Police received a report that six subjects were fighting and throwing rocks at each other at Fairway Plaza on El Camino Real.

7:35pm  A home on Gellert Boulevard was reportedly robbed sometime during the day.

Saturday, February 4

2:31am  Officers sent a unit to Denny’s on South Airport Boulevard, where a window had been shot. Witnesses did not see any cars or pedestrians passing by at the time of the shooting.

3:43am  Police made an arrest on suspicion of DUI following a rear end collision at Hickey Boulevard and Junipero Serra.

4:31pm  Officers responded to Linden Avenue near Grand, where another major injury accident involving a vehicle striking a pedestrian occurred.

Sunday, February 5

1:28pm  Employees at Starbucks on Grand Avenue called police reporting that a male who comes into the store frequently was making inappropriate sexual comments to them.
