Blotter: Facial Cream Theft at Costco

The following information was supplied by the South San Francisco Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, January 30

10:35am Police sent a unit to Costco on El Camino Real, where a subject was in custody for attempting to steal $146 worth of facial cream.

11:57am  Officers received a report from Junipero Serra near Hickey Boulevard that a female subject ran out of a cab without paying the fare, and that the woman’s husband then drove her away from the scene in a gold Land Rover.

1:54pm  A Ford Mustang convertible was reported as stolen from the Alida Apartments on Alida Way sometime during the morning.

6:49pm  The window of a vehicle parked at Hungry Hunter on South Airport Boulevard was broken and a purse was reportedly stolen from inside.

8:52pm  Officers sent a unit to 7-Eleven on Callan Boulevard, where a man had reportedly opened two cans of beer in the store, drank them and left without paying.

9:26pm  A purse was reportedly stolen out of a black Chevy Equinox parked at Chevy’s on Hickey Boulevard.

Tuesday, January 31

10:29am  Officers received a report from a man who said that he had been while at home on Kenry Way by a man pretending to be a FedEx delivery man.

1:42pm  Police responded to the scene of a four-car pileup Avalon Drive and Junipero Serra.

2:04pm  A guest at Citigarden Inn on South Airport Boulevard reportedly approached the front desk, stole a radio and then left in a silver Honda Civic.
