Blotter: Man Robbed By Online Date

The following information was supplied by the South San Francisco Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, October 24

8:09am  Minor injuries were incurred following an accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian near the intersection of Baden and Eucalyptus Avenues.

12:05pm  Miscellaneous items were reported as stolen sometime overnight from the trunk of a white Ford Taurus parked on Larch Avenue.

2:07pm  A home on Baden Avenue was reportedly burglarized sometime during the day. The resident reported that miscellaneous items were taken.

4:29pm  Police received a report that a man walking in the Chestnut Avenue/Hillside Boulevard area was threatened by three people driving by in a blue Honda Civic, who threw eggs at him and said they were going to kill him.

Tuesday, October 25

3:18am  Police received a report that a man staying at Quality Inn & Suites on South Airport Boulevard was robbed of $1,400 cash by a woman he met online and invited to his room.

10:19am  Major injuries were reported after an accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in the parking lot of Pak N Save on Gellert Boulevard.

11:35am  Officers responded to American Wine Distributors on Victory Avenue, where a break-in occurred sometime overnight. The caller suspected the crime had been committed by a former employee who had been terminated the week prior.
