Blotter: Man Grows Tired of Waiting, Takes Drugs From Emergency Room

Monday, April 16

4:22am  Police received a report from Fairfax Way that a man was trying to break into a vehicle. The caller saw the man first try the car doors then peer into the windows.

6:05am  A Honda Civic was reportedly broken into while parked on Fairfax Way.

10:21am  Reports came in that a homeless man was standing by the doorway of 7-Eleven on El Camino Real wearing shredded pants and no underwear, so that passersby could “see his privates.”

1:40pm  Officers received a report from Spruce School on Spruce Avenue that a transient female urinated in front of a group of kids and then refused to leave the premises.

2:56pm  A caller reported finding 50 bags of marijuana stems behind the Draeger’s Supermarket headquarters on Utah Avenue.

Tuesday, April 17

5:32am  Police received a report from Kaiser on El Camino Real that a man who came in to get stitches around his eye got tired of waiting and left with a 30ml bottle of Lydocain with epinephrine.

4:10pm  Minor injuries were incurred after a vehicle reportedly struck a five-year-old at Orange Avenue and Baden.

9:54pm  A purse was reportedly stolen out of a blue Volkswagen Beatle parked at Walgreens on El Camino Real. The culprits smashed a window to gain access.

Wednesday, April 18

12:49pm  Reports came in from West Orange Avenue that a male subject with a bat was chasing someone down the street, and that four kids were chasing him.

4:23pm  Police received a report that a man inside a residence on Willow Avenue exposed himself through a window to three girls walking by.
