Blotter: Driver Breaks Out of Park 'N Fly

Friday, September 9
2:35pm Police received a report of grand theft from the Magnolia Senior Center, where copper handrails hand been taken from the outside walls.
4:23pm A group of juveniles was stung by a swarm of bees while on the Eucalyptus Trail on Sign Hill.

7:23pm Employees from McDonald’s on El Camino Real called police when a group of six juveniles refused to leave the premises.

4:22pm Officers were called to Grand Avenue Auto Service on Airport Boulevard, where three customers were engaged in a physical altercation.
6:44pm Police responded to the scene of a non-injury accident on Grand Avenue. An Oldsmobile was left abandoned in front of Kahn & Keville after its driver slammed into a pole.
9:17pm Police referred to the SPCA after receiving a call that a small black dog without a collar was running loose in and out of traffic in the California/Linden Avenue area.
11:19pm A guest at La Quinta Motor Inn on Airport Boulevard reportedly caused a disturbance with front desk employees, yelling and swearing at them after receiving a smoking room instead of the non-smoking room he wanted.
Sunday, September 11
10:23am On Camaritas Avenue, a resident who had held a garage sale reported that her purse had gone missing. She suspected that someone entered her residence and stole it during the sale.
7:27pm At on Terminal Court, a male customer in a white vehicle claimed to have lost his ticket and refused to pay the fee, driving over the sidewalk to get out of the lot.
