Blotter: Beer Thieves Return for Another Drink

The following information was supplied by the South San Francisco Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, January 2

6:27am  The driver of a white Toyota Tundra reportedly hit another vehicle at East Grand Avenue and Forbes Boulevard and then took off. No injuries were reported.

3:11pm  Police received a report that a female transient was standing in the parking lot near Los Compadres Taqueria on Grand Avenue screaming to herself for more than an hour.

4:36pm  At Peet’s Coffee on Grand Avenue, a male customer in a black jacket and sunglasses reportedly attempted to pay for items with a fake gift card.

4:53pm  Three juveniles were spotted on the roof of Westborough Middle School.

Tuesday, January 3

2:17am  A group of subjects driving a black Honda CRV reportedly dined and dashed at IHOP on South Airport Boulevard.

2:44am  Officers received a report from Kaiser on El Camino Real that an intoxicated patient tried to attack members of their staff.

12:53pm  A taxi driver reportedly backed into another vehicle on McDonnell Drive and was refusing to exchange insurance information with the victim.

6:00pm  Police received a report from 7-Eleven on Callan Boulevard that a group of subjects who had stolen two cases of beer earlier in the day returned and took more beer.
