Bank Heist Suspect Caught on Film
Federal agents believe 'Mr. Magoo Bandit' may be responsible for rash of nine California robberies.
A man who robbed a McLellan Drive Chase Bank branch on Sept. 17 is wanted for eight other heists in California.
Police have released a surveillance photo of the man taken in a U.S. Bank in downtown Novato, which they say he robbed Aug. 29.
In both cases, the man demanded money from a teller but did not brandish a weapon. The teller complied and no one was injured.

Federal agents have dubbed the suspect "the Mr. Magoo Bandit," after the myopic cartoon character. He is also suspected of holding up another Chase branch on Tuesday in Camarillo. Police believe he is responsible for six identical crimes in San Diego.
The man has been described as bald, white, in his late 30s to early 40s and about 200 pounds with a medium build, and wears thick prescription glasses.
