Bad Guy On The Loose

Police across the Bay Area are asking for help in catching a suspect believed involved in at least 20 robberies in at least 10 cities.

Police across the Bay Area are searching for a suspect believed to be responsible for at least 20 armed robberies in at least 10 cities, the most recent in nearby San Jose’s Willow Glen neighborhood.

The suspect committed a robbery in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue in San Jose, and San Jose Police are asking for help in identifying the robber.

Detectives think the suspect may also be responsible for similar robberies in San Francisco, San Leandro, San Bruno, Redwood City, Pacifica, Menlo Park, Fremont, Daly City, and Colma.

A preliminary investigation into the San Jose robbery, which occurred on June 12, the suspect entered the store brandishing a handgun and demanding money. He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. He has not been caught.

The man is considered armed and dangerous.
