Airport Blvd Hotel Named in Trafficking Case

A hookup website is implicated in two recent cases where defendants are charged with pimping teenage girls out of Airport Boulevard hotels.

In what has become a disturbing pattern, the San Mateo County district attorney has filed charges against another person accused pimping a teenager out of an Airport Boulevard hotel.

Police arrested Bryan David Armstrong, 25, at on Sept. 29 after an officer responded to an online ad suggesting prosecution, according to District Attorney Stephen M. Wagstaffe.

When the officer arrived at the hotel room, Armstrong answered the door, Wagstaffe said. A 19-year-old girl wearing only a bra and underwear was inside the room; she said Armstrong convinced her to work as a prostitute and threatened her with violence if she didn't follow his orders, Wagstaffe said.

, Mahender and Helen Singh, a married couple, were charged with child sex trafficking after officers discovered them at the on Airport Boulevard in August with three teenage girls who said they were being held by force as prostitutes, according to police.

In both cases, the suspects accused of pimping have allegedly advertised the girls on hookup website MyRedbook.com. .

Armstrong, a Stockton resident, didn't appear at his Tuesday court date and forfeited his $20,000 bail bond, according to Wagstaffe. The judge issued a bench warrant for his arrest and set bail at $50,000.

Prosecutors filed charges of pimping, pandering and human trafficking against Armstrong.
