It was a perfect day this past Saturday as more than 400 people came to participate in the South San Francisco Thanksgiving Fun Run. Kaiser Permanente, one of the sponsors for the event, was well represented with 175 employees, physicians and their families. The 5-K course wound its way along the beautiful Bay Trail and Oyster Point Marina. Once the runners had completed the course, a number of the doctors and physical therapists were available to answer health related questions with a special emphasis on exercise and physical conditioning. This is part of the Kaiser Permanente San Mateo Area's TALK WITH A DOC program.
