Spreading the Love: Seniors to Make Valentines for Troops

Assemblyman Jerry Hill will help make the cards to give a boost to recently returned troops.

They say Valentine's Day is for lovers, but sometimes it's nice to spread that love around.

That's why this morning, seniors who are part of the 's adult day care program will be joined by Assemblyman Jerry Hill (D-San Mateo) to make Valentines for troops.

The cards will be sent to members of the California Army National Guard 297th Area Support Medical Company, based in San Mateo, which recently returned from Iraq.
