Your Wednesday Scoop

Science lessons abound today.

1. From 10:15am to 11am this morning, parents can enjoy a free librarian-hosted circle time at the . The weekly caters to little ones four to 18 months old, as well as their caregivers.

2. At the , Spanish speakers are invited to attend today’s Leer y Aprender Story Time at 3pm. This all-Spanish circle is for three to five-year olds, and takes place every Wednesday.

3. Give your pre-school age children a full sensory science lesson this morning at Coyote Point Museum’s program. These weekly sessions offer small group lessons for youngsters, fostering natural curiosity and promoting discovery and awareness of the world around them. Classes run from 9am to noon until February 5.

4. For grown-ups who want to join in the explorative fun, the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco is offering free admission all day today for young and old alike. Every third Wednesday of the month is free to all at the museum, which opens at 9:30am.
