PG&E has already restored service to over 1,000 Peninsula customers.

More than 13,000 PG&E customers across the Bay Area remained without power this morning after a night of rain and heavy wind, including 2,040 Peninsula residents, a utility spokesman said.

Most of the remaining outages were in the North Bay, where about 8,500 homes and businesses were without power as of 8 a.m., PG&E spokesman J.D. Guidi said.

Additionally, 1,440 in the South Bay were experiencing outages, Guidi said.
