Help us recognize the hard-working service professionals in our community by nominating your favorites.
Next Monday is Labor Day, and while for many that means a day off from work, most laborers in the service industry find themselves working the very holiday that honors their hard work. In recognition of those workers who serve others day in and day out, we ask our readers to help us honor their favorite service sector professionals who make their lives a little easier by chiming in for this week’s Picks. Tell us who in our community offers you great service on a daily basis, and who you would like to recognize this Labor Day.
- Do the folks at or your favorite neighborhood coffee shop always brighten your morning with a smile to go with that latte?
- Is there an exceptional server or chef at your regular lunch spot who offers a friendly chat while you order your meal?
- Who checks you in at your gym every day, or offers some training support, or cleans the locker rooms and equipment?
- How often are the people who make the coffee, keep the kitchen stocked and garbage cans emptied at your office recognized?
- Let’s not forget the teachers, nannies and child care professionals who help make sure little ones grow up happy and safe.
