In the seven months that South San Francisco Patch has been online, there has been no shortage of strong opinions. Members of the community have commented on stories, debated local issues, written letters to the editor and become contributors.

Starting May 4, we’ll be offering a new, exciting way for you share your voice. We’re launching a blogging platform, and we need local bloggers who have something to say to the residents of South San Francisco.

  • Are you passionate about South San Francisco issues?
  • Are you an expert cook who wants to share recipes or a hobbyist with do-it-yourself tips?
  • Do you have strong opinions about local government?
  • Can you just make us all laugh?
  • Can you write compellingly?

Then we want to hear from you.

You’ll write on your schedule: what you want to say, when you want to say it. We want strong, honest, authentic points of view. I’ll screen the entries and may make minor edits for spelling and grammar, but your voice is your own.

You’ll own all your own content, so you can post what you write on your personal blog or on other blogs. The Patch blogging platform offers you a way to get your writing out to a wider audience.
