Freebies at Tanforan and Deals at Ducky's

Deals and steals for Peninsula families this week include cheap seats for the kids at a local play, a free storytime to keep little ones entertained, gift cards to Old Navy when donating to a great cause, free entry for children to an interactive tour of the Contemporary Jewish Museum and half off Deluxe Car Washes at Ducky’s.

1. Auditorium

Deal: Discounted tickets for students, children and seniors to this weekend’s performances of by SSF High students. Children pay $4, while students and seniors get in for $6. Regular adult admission is $10.

Good through: This Friday at 8pm and Saturday at 2pm and 8pm

2. Barnes & Noble Booksellers at Tanforan

Deal: with snacks and activities for kids, featuring children’s book character “Cookie Mouse.”

Good through: Two performances a day this Friday and Saturday, at 11am and 2:30pm

3. Old Navy at Tanforan

Deal: Receive a when you donate a new or near new formal gown or other prom accessories to benefit The Princess Project, which helps ensure high school-age girls of all economic backgrounds can go to prom in style.

Good through: This Friday and Saturday, from noon to 5pm

4. Contemporary Jewish Museum in San Francisco

Deal: Guests 18 and under get free admission to the museum’s Preschool Gallery Hour, a special tour of the current Curious George exhibit and craftmaking session. Admission to the tour is free for parents with purchase of museum general admission.

Good through: The second Sunday of each month (this Sunday, March 13)

5. Ducky’s Car Wash in San Mateo, San Carlos and Menlo Park

Deal: good for four washes, or 33% off a two-wash Deluxe Car Wash card with online promotional code (available on Ducky’s website). $7 of each purchase will go toward the Second Harvest Food Bank.
