Deals: Camp Fair and Food Festivals

Check out the spring class lineup from the Parks and Recreation Department.

Frugal families should be on the lookout this week for free workshops for parents at local libraries, cheap international food and live music, information on summer camps and great rates on spring activities for the whole family.

Deal: Free parenting workshop on Setting Limits with Children.

Good through: One day only, this Saturday at 2pm.

Deal: Free computer class to orient people with Ebay.

Good through: This Thursday only, at 7pm.

Deal: $5 admission for all ages event featuring live music in various rooms and food carts with cuisine from Soul Cocina, Papalote and more. Proceeds benefit St. Anthony’s Foundation and Child Hope Asia.

Good through: One day only, this Sunday from 2pm to 9pm (date moved from original Saturday schedule).

Deal: Free Camp Fair for families near the Food Court, with informational booths and activities.

Good through: This Sunday only, from 1 to 4pm.

Deal: Many spring classes start Monday, such as Karate Shotokan, Levels I to III. For nine to 12 year-olds, this class runs twice a week through May 18 and is $48 for residents ($58 for Level III).
