Want to Know Where to Get Crème Filled Pumpkin Rolls at the Pumpkin Festival? iPumpkin Will Tell You.

Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival goes mobile again with free app plus free Wi-Fi.

For the second year in a row now, Art & Pumpkin Festival goers will have access to iPumpkin, an app providing everything visitors and locals alike would want to know about the festival and Half Moon Bay.

iPumpkin is designed to enhance the festival experience for users by providing everything from a fact sheet with key details, interactive site map, information on special attractions, food booths, event and entertainment schedules, a Top Ten list, door-to-door directions, push messaging alerts, special deals, a Pumpkin Trivia contest with great prizes, Facebook and Twitter integration, and visitor information via a full-function version of Phondini Partner's iCoastside app, which provides visitors an up-to-the-minute guide in their smart phones to local hotels, restaurants, activities, and events.

Phondini Partners is a Half Moon Bay based business that builds mobile applications for iPhone, iPad, Android and Blackberry platforms using local resources.

Their Pumpkin Festival app is self-contained and functions without a connection to 3G or Wi-Fi. It has "push" messaging capability allowing both security and festival communications informing users of everything from "Lost Child" to "Traffic Accident" to "Stage Announcements" to special deals for Food, Beverages and Art. The app also integrates Coastside sights, restaurants and shops from its popular local app, iCoastside.

Local internet service provider www.Coastside.net will supply dedicated download capacity running from their Main Street location in Half Moon Bay, allowing festival-goers to download the app quickly and easily.

To download the free 2012 Pumpkin Festival mobile app click here. The app is available on the Apple iTunes App Store for iPhone, iPad & iPod Touch, the Google Play Store for Android, and the Amazon AppStore for Android & Kindle Fire.
