Best Deals on Game Day Pizza

Our local bargain hunter tracks down the best places to order pizza for your Super Bowl Sunday parties.

Pizzerias around the country have been preparing for this Sunday’s Super Bowl for months. Millions of pounds of extra flour and cheese have been shipped nationally and the several pizza joints in South City are ready to help you stuff your faces with hot cheesy pizzas on game day.

on El Camino Real opens at 11am on Super Bowl Sunday and offers delivery and take-out options from its small store.

  • Their best game day value is “The Big Dipper,” which is equivalent to an extra large pizza and has 24 rectangular slices. You can order it with one topping and four dipping sauces for just $12.00. Pre-order it online to make Sunday even less stressful.
  • Pizza Hut also has $8.00 medium pizzas and $10.00 large pizzas, both with up to three toppings.

on El Camino Real will be opening at 10am on Sunday and offering free delivery with a $15 minimum purchase to South San Francisco, Burlingame, San Bruno, Brisbane, Daly City, and even as far as Pacifica.

  • Mr Pizza Man has all kinds of deals for you. They’re having their “One Dollar Pizza Promotion” where if you buy any pizza with at least four toppings, the second one will cost you just $1.00.
  • For pick-up, even more deals are available, like their large cheese pizza for $9.99.

on Chestnut Avenue will be open at 11am on Sunday and offering these special deals for delivery or pick-up.

  • Order a large one-topping pizza for $12.00 or an extra large one-topping pizza for $14.00.
  • If you’re craving more toppings than that, get any large pizza for $17.00. This includes their delicious Maui Zaui, Smokehouse Combo, King Arthur’s Supreme, BBQ Chicken, and any of their other premium specialty pizzas.

on Grand Avenue offers free delivery with a $10 minimum purchase and will open at 11am on Super Bowl Sunday.

  • Normal menu prices will be available on all your favorite pizzas, calzones, and pastas for delivery or take-out this Sunday. Their pizzas come in small, medium, large, or extra large with a small cheese pizza costing you $6.95 and their priciest pizzas, Vegi-Deluxe and their Meat Only Special, ringing you up at $25.35 before tax for an extra large.
  • Delivery time shouldn’t take more than an hour and you can even place your order online.

on Mission Road will open at 11am this Sunday, offering delivery, take-out, and online ordering to make game day even simpler.

  • With a two pizza minimum, you can get two medium two-topping pizzas for just $5.99 each or two medium specialty pizzas like their Wisconsin 6 cheese pizza or Cali Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza for just $7.99 each.
  • Another delicious game day idea: “plus it up,” as Domino’s likes to say, and add a 2-liter Coca-Cola and two of their Chocolate Lava Crunch Cakes to your pizza order for $5.99.

on South Airport Boulevard and on El Camino Real both open at 10am this Sunday and only offer take-out.

  • Through February 27th an instant savings of $3.00 will be taken off your purchase of Kirkland Signature Pepperoni Take and Bake Pizzas. They’re normally $9.99, so your final price will be just $6.99 for this huge pepperoni pizza. Keep in mind that their Meat Lovers and Margherita take and bakes will still be $9.99.
  • If you don’t want the responsibility of baking on Super Bowl Sunday, carry out a few baked pizzas from their food court for $9.99. They have Cheese, Pepperoni, and Combination pizzas that can be ordered on the phone, making pick-up even faster.

Best Deal: instant $3.00 savings on their Pepperoni Take and Bake Pizza will bring the most pizza to your Super Bowl Sunday party, but someone’s going to have to keep an eye on it in the oven, and if you have too many guests, it might be a little overwhelming. If you want someone else to take care of the baking and bring hot pizza straight to your door, then one of “The Big Dipper” and two medium two topping pizzas will both bring you about the same amount of pizza for the $12.00 pre-tax and tip total.
