Motorcyclist Injured in Apparent Hit-and-Run Crash on Hwy 101

The traffic incident on the northbound lanes near the on ramp to Grand Ave. occurred at 12:30 p.m.

Emergency crews have responded to the scene of a hit-and-run crash that reportedly left a motorcyclist injured on U.S. Highway 101 in South San Francisco, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision involved a White Ford Fiesta and a motorcyclist and was reported a short time after 12:30 p.m. on northbound Highway 101 near the North Grand Avenue onramp, according to the CHP.

Apparently the car rear-ended the motorcycle in the third lane.

The crash reportedly left the motorcyclist down in the roadway, and at least two lanes were blocked as of 12:45 p.m., the CHP reports.
