New App Puts the Library in the Palm of Your Hand

The PLS mobile app allows you to search library catalogs, place hold orders, download eBooks, and more---right from you phone or tablet.

When it comes to how we use our public libraries, we've come a long way since the Dewey Decimal System was first published in 1876.

Fast forward 137 years, and the original Dewey concepts of relative location and relative index is now at your fingertips as are a variety of other library services thanks to a new Peninsula Library System mobile device application.

The new app is provided in partnership between PLS Library and Boopsie.com. It will allow users access to a host of Peninsula Library System services including:

  • Downloading eBooks and eAudiobooks
  • Look for events
