Kids Jump for the Record

The Boys & Girls Clubs of North San Mateo set out to beat a world record for jumping jacks.

On Tuesday afternoon at 3:30pm Pacific time, the Boys and Girls Clubs of North San Mateo County joined with Boys and Girls Clubs across the country to try to beat the record for most people simultaneously doing jumping jacks for two minutes.

Though the count is still coming in, Executive Director Sharon Dolan said that with kids at over 1,000 clubs jumping together nationwide, they almost certainly beat the existing record of 278 people.

Watch the kids at the South San Francisco club jump together to meet the challenge.

Every year I buy more school supplies and art supplies for the teachers and they know they canRead More always count on me for more whenever needed. I'm a strong believer in encouraging children to be creative and get rid of the barriers to the freedom of self expression.

We help by asking teachers if they need anything. They'll drop hints and we'll go and purchase theRead More products. Most, if not all, parents are willing to help their children's classes if they are able to. It's really unfair for the teachers to purchase supplies out of their own pockets.
