Community Corner

Share Your Vision for SSF Parks

The City of South San Francisco is in the process of renovating the playgrounds located at Francisco Terrace Playlot, Buri Buri Park, Winston Manor #1 Park and Clay Ave Playground.  The elements to be constructed will be based on community input, as well as recommendations from the Parks & Recreation Commission.  The project design is also limited by the funding available per site.

This notice is to invite you to attend community workshops regarding proposed improvements of the Four Parks Renovation Project.  Please feel free to attend the workshop at the park near your home, as well as parks you attend for sporting events, exercise and celebrations.  The more input received from the community, the better!

Representatives from the landscape architecture firm and City staff will be at each park in order to capture your thoughts, concerns and ideas for the future of each site.  Please see attached map for workshop dates/times and locations.

If you are unable to attend any of the workshops, please go to http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/T3H2YGM and complete a quick questionnaire online.  Your input will help to update the parks where you live and play!
