: “I am in a Genealogy class given at San Mateo Adult School. Today in class ages 35 and over were ducking under our desk's (a feat harder than you think for some of us) and then paraded out to the grass area. I understand The Great California Shakeout was across the state, how strange for us to have a tremble just a few hours after. Hum!”

: “Congratulations to Jackie to take on this project. When Families on Track, a privately funded in-school and after school program operated at Parkway Heights, dramatic improvements in behavior, grades and attendance were the result. When the market downturn in the late 1990s-early 2000's hit, we lost substantial non-profit/foundation support. That combined with less than full commitment by the school district led to the demise of the program. A modified version of FonT would be just the ticket.”

: “These are all nice picks, but I would also add, "Shaun of the Dead"-- a hilarious spoof of zombie movies that also makes a poignant critique of contemporary "dead-beat" culture. Sometimes you can't even tell the difference between the zombies and the real humans! The scene on how to imitate a zombie is classic.”
