Last Chance to Bid in Auction to Support South City Youth
Only a few days remain to place a bid that could support youth from South San Francisco and Pacifica.
Did you go the lobster feed on Sept. 22 that the Boys & Girls Clubs and Kiwanis Club of South San Francisco put on? If so, you contributed to $14,000 raised to support local youth.
If you couldn't make it, then you still have a chance to be part of the action. An online auction is open through Wednesday, Oct. 10. Click here to bid on a variety of items, including hotel rooms, a hot air balloon ride, performing arts & museum tickets and spa & gym gift certificates.
At September's event, about 175 guests attended for a meal of Maine lobster, prawns, sausage, artichokes and corn on the cob. More than 100 Bay Area businesses donated raffle prizes and auction items.
