Batter Up! Volunteers Ready Field for Season

The Kiwanis Club joined with community volunteers Saturday to ready the baseball fields for Junior Giants season.

Volunteers from the , the San Francisco State University Circle K Club, the El Camino and South San Francisco High School Key Clubs and the community gathered Saturday at the baseball fields to paint bleachers and spread gravel to level the field in anticipation of the Junior Giants summer season.

The Junior Giants is a sports and character-building program financed by the Giants Community Fund. Practices begin June 25 for the second season of the program in South San Francisco.
